3 Sacred Walking
In Buddhism, it is traditional to circumambulate sacred structures as a form of meditation practice. This is called “Kora”. At the Monastery a beneficial practice would be to circumambulate the Buddha Statute, the Temple and the Stupas (also see “Balancing the Elements” above) . In this way you pay respect to the Body, Speech and Mind of the Buddha (and hence your own Buddha Nature). MAP
4 Meditation
In addition to meditating in the temple, you are welcome to meditate at the Buddha Statute and Stupas and the Prayer Flag walk (on the way to the stupas). There is limited seating available, so you may wish to bring something to sit on. PICTURE
